Creamy Kheer

Here’s the recipe of delectable, Creamy Kheer to take over your senses! Make this Kheer for your celebrations or to satisfy your dessert cravings.

  • ½ cup soaked small rice
  • 1 ½ litres milk
  • ? cup Madhur Sugar
  • 2 cardamoms (Elaichi) crushed
  • 2 tbsp almond and pistachio slivers
  • 1 tsp saffron (Kesar) strands

For Garnishing

  • Some almond and pistachio slivers

  • Add 1 ½ litres of milk to a pot and let it boil till the milk thickens.
  • As the milk thickens, add the soaked rice to it and give it a good stir.
  • Now sprinkle the saffron strands to this mix and stir it.
  • Next add ? cup Madhur Sugar and keep stirring continuously.
  • Once the mix is almost cooked, add cardamom powder, almond and pistachio slivers and stir it well.
  • Finally transfer the Kheer in a bowl and garnish it with some dry fruit slivers.
  • Serve hot!
