2 litres whole milk
3 tbsp lemon juice
¾ cup Madhur Sugar, powdered
½ tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp ghee
Pistachios and almonds for garnishing
Boil the milk in a pot.
Add 3 tbsp lemon juice to the boiling milk and stir continuously.
Drain the liquid from the curdled milk.
Rinse the chenna with cold water and drain it off completely.
Now add the chenna to the milk.
Warm this mixture in a kadhai and stir it continuously till the milk thickens.
Add the powdered sugar and mix well.
Sprinkle the cardamom powder on the mixture and cook for a few minutes.
Grease a tray with butter or ghee.
Pour the mixture into the tray and settle the mixture.
Garnish it with pistachio and almond slivers.
Cut it into medium sized pieces and serve the delectable Kalakand.
